Setting up your Email Client to Access your Email Account

Set Up Outlook Express

This article provides instructions in configuring Outlook Express to send and receive emails using the Email Account provided to you by View2Offer.com.

Begin by opening Outlook Express. Once Outlook Express is open:

  • 1. Click on Tools.
  • 2. Click on Accounts.

On the Internet Accounts window:

  • 3. Click on Mail tab.
  • 4. Click on Add.
  • 5. Select Mail.

On the Internet Connection wizard window:

  • 6. Enter your real name in the Display Name field; this is the name that people will see when you send them a message.
  • 7. Click on Next.

On the Internet Email Address window:

  • 8. Enter the email address provided to you by View2offer.com in the E-mail address field.
  • 9. Click on Next.

On the E-mail Server Names window:

  • 10. Set My incoming mail server is a to POP3 server.
  • 11. Set Incoming mail (POP3) server to mx.v-workz.com.
  • 12. Set Outgoing mail (SMTP) server to mx.v-workz.com.
  • 13. Click on Next.

On the Internet Mail Logon window:

  • 14. Enter the Account Name; this should be the full user email address.
  • 15. Enter the Password; this should be the password you set for your account. This is case-sensitive.
  • 16. Check the Remember password option.
  • 17. Make sure that Log on using SPA is unchecked.
  • 18. Click on Next.

  • 19. Click on Finish.

Note: Outlook is now configured to receive your emails, but you need to follow the additional configurations below for you to be able to send emails properly.

 

Additional Configurations for the Outgoing Mail Server

On the Internet Accounts window:

  • 1. Select and highlight your email account.
  • 2. Click on Properties.

On the Properties window:

  • 3. Click on Servers tab.
  • 4. Check the My server requires authentication option.
  • 5. Click on Settings.

On the Outgoing Mail Server window:

  • 6. Select Use same settings as my incoming mail server.
  • 7. Click on OK.

  • 8. Click on OK.

  • 9. Click on Close.
